There is a new development in the event that took place a while back at UCI (University of California – Irvine) in which Muslim students both shouted down and got physical during a speech given by an Israeli diplomat.
The followers of the false god, the false prophet, false book, and the false religion have always put their worldview into practice wherever they could gain the majority numerically and produced systems of government in which freedom of speech is not tolerated. And now they have decided to bring that garbage here as well.
Over the years, I have grown to accept the mathematical equation that Islam = no free speech. It is just a general rule of life when dealing with folks of this mentality. I am no more surprised to hear that Muslim students shouted and acted silly during a speech that disagrees with their prejudices and presuppositions than I am to hear an account of a dog barking. It is just them obeying what their religion calls them to do.
If you bring a tribal, nomadic, heathen, pagan, savage, 7th century, woman-hating, dirty, anti-Semitic, barbaric, disgusting way of seeing the world into a civilized environment and try to have a normal event, there will be conflict. Anyone who doesn’t see it coming is very stupid.
The university rightly punished the Muslim students’ organization for this behavior. But now the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office is also looking at bringing a criminal punishment in addition.
Not only were their actions planned ahead of time, but it was the latest in a pattern of these kinds of behavioral problems that have yet to be satisfactorally corrected.
It was not a peaceful protest. It was a deliberate attempt to disturb the peace and disrupt the free exchange of ideas in an educational institution. It was not a rational or orderly asking of questions during a question and answer period. It was loud shouting in the middle of it. They did not want the man to finish because they do not care what he has to say. They are neither interested in facts nor the freedom to report them.
The latest development in this story that we have been watching closely is that now many members of the UCI faculty have gotten together to sign a petition, the goal of which is to intimidate the prosecutor’s office to make them stop with the criminal prosecution.
If there were a Black History Month event taking place and the KKK busted in and shouted over the speaker, would the faculty be defending the KKK? Would they be lying and attempting to make it sound like the KKK was holding a peaceful protest? Would they attempt to sell us on the notion that prosecuting these monsters is on the same level as violating their Free Speech rights? Making the perpetrators into the victim? Making it seem like all who disagreed with the KKK’s behavior were culturally unaware and intolerant bigots?
Well they might as well. Because that is essentially what they have done. They have sided with the bad guys. And they have been willing to lie in order to do so.
We stand behind the Orange County prosecutors. Prosecute to the full extent of the law.
We stand against the anti-Constitutional faculty at UCI. You have just spat on the blood of all of the people who have sacrificed and died to purchase and maintain the freedoms you exercise every day. Shame on you.
Not that your school had a great reputation before all of this, but this just adds to your well-known track record of the hatred and intolerance of opposing voices. And that you are willing to defend the criminals is a gross crime against the ideas that your school was founded to spread.
